Yep, August 7, 2008 - our little girl has turned 2!  Can you believe it?  At 2:07 (MST) pm on August 7 (in the States), exactly 730 days ago, Miss Kyra Jeannette Craig was born - all 10.2 pounds of her!  Now, she is 35 inches high and weighs 29lbs!  Crazy to think…

For all you freaks out there, she is in the 75th percentile - and they say to measure a girl when she is 2 years 2 months old to find out what her height will be when she is a grown up.  So, you can count on those stats being posted on here then!

So KJ, happy birthday little lady.  Your mum and I are so very proud of you and what you have done for us and to our lives.  Your zest for life and smile make even the “poopiest” days feel like we have won the lottery!  We love you tons…

Okay, so get this.  I was in the office cathcing up on some e-mails and KJ was in watching “The Wiggers” - hey, that is what she calls them.  Anyhow, I heard her playing and luaghing and then she said - “ni-ni”.  So, I finished up a bit of work (literally 2 mins after I heard her say ni-ni) and as I was walking out into the lounge, I heard her snoring.  She had taken one of the pillows off the couch, put in on the ground, laid down and covered herself up and well, there she is now…sleeping!  Can’t get any better than that!  Have a look!

So get this - little miss sunshine woke up this morning, put on my snowboarding helmet and asked if she could go boarding!  Ha!  Just kidding.  With the cold weather and snow here in Palmy, I am pretty sure she could!  OK - well, there really wasn’t snow in Palmy - just hail - but the foothills got pounded - maybe an eighth of an inch!!!!  Gone are the Colorado days!

Well, happy 4th of July to everyone “state side”.  It is bloody cold here today…looking at a high about 36 degrees.  We had a big hail storm this morning and loads of snow in the mountains - and it continues to rain all day.  I have added some new pics to the following pages (these are listed over there —————–>)

It’ s a.j. joining the blog

Wow - its been a long time but we are FINALLY back online!  Kyra is almost 2 now - we can’t believe it either.  She is turning into quite the “head-turner” which is making me very nervous as the boys are giving her the “wink” and she isn’t even 5!  What can I say - she gets her killer good looks from her mom and her brains from, um, her mom!

Anyhow, good to be back up and running folks!  Keep coming back as I will be getting pictures up for everyone to see of our new house (in New Zealand!!!) and our beautiful daughter Kyra!
